Historic Investigations

Specialists in Architectural and Personal Histories

ABOUT US

After meeting at University, where Debbie and Carole both graduated with a BA(Hons) in Archaeology and Landscape History, they established Historic Investigations.  They realised there was a local niche market for short term projects with a personal touch and that they could combine this with the exciting voluntary opportunities they were involved with as well as family life!  They are both active members of the archaeological community in both professional and voluntary capacities and are affiliate members of the IFA (Institute for Archaeologists). As the business developed they were awarded the English Heritage Strategic Stone Study Survey for Rutland which is now available online at  http://www.bgs.ac.uk/mineralsuk/buildingStones/StrategicStoneStudy/EH_atlases.html and follow the Rutland link
